Taskforce trainers

Task force trainers deliver courses that support the CIPS 'Introductory Certificate in Purchasing and Supply' level 2 qualification.  These four modules  are offered in addition to other purchasing courses, available on the schedule.

To deliver this training, Government Procurement Service co-ordinates a national network of taskforce trainers who:

  • have been selected from supplies/deputy supplies managers in the NHS
  • receive four days intensive trainer skills training (2 x 2 day modules)
  • deliver between six and eight days of training each schedule
  • attend one or two taskforce trainer meetings each year
  • assist in the development of new and existing training modules.
  • are CIPS registered
